EXT3-fs: unable to read superblock
I got the following error message during the boot process:
EXT3-fs: unable to read superblock

Freeing unused kernel memory: 260k freed

I was using RedHat 7.3 when this problem appeared. My machine is a
ThinkPad R30 Intel Celeron 900 MHz. I used "linux rescue", to get access
to my hard drive data. I changed ext3 tags to ext2 in my /etc/fstab file

...laces in the
backing file which are zero).
In *theory* it should be possible to commit the changes to the backing
file, making the backing file sparse. But in reality that doesn't
work:
$ qemu-img commit overlay.qcow2
Image committed.
$ du -sh fedora-22.img overlay.qcow2
6.1G fedora-22.img
260K overlay.qcow2
So really there's no use for virt-sparsify on a snapshot (although you
could also argue this is a bug or missing feature in qemu-img).

What to do with HUGE instance variables in Rails?
I''m learning rails and I can succesfully use the following things in the
controller:
@var1 = Var.find :all
@var2 = Var2.find :all
Problem is that the DB has about 260,000 lines which considerably slows
everything down if I load everything in @var1.
Isn''t there a way to load those items progressively? I treat them
separately (e.g. no interactions between them) in the program so

Indeed, as in real life, I expect that in any level of the snapshot tree
there are opportunities to sparsify blocks.

Setup exits with empty dialog box!
...itle bar's left side
that looks like a martini glass with a cherry in it to me.
The program exits after hitting OK.
Then I logged the program:wine --debugmsg
+relay,+string,+text,+file,+dosfs /mnt/cdrom/setup >& wine.log
The result was 16 megs, which bzip2s down to a more manageable 260k.
Are there any users/developers out there who could tell me what to look
for in the log file to find out what the message in the dialog box was
supposed to be, so that I can help track this further? Does anyone want
the log file?
Thanks,

[ActsAsFerret] OpenSolaris (TextDrive) indexing issues
Gents,
I successfully installed AAF on my TextDrive OpenSolaris Container, but
I''m having some issues with indexing.
I have a model called Blogs which has AAF enabled.
The first time I tried to find_by_contents for a ''word'' I know was on
the Database I got now results. Apparently the index was not ready yet.
Then I waited a few hours and checked that the /index
