Color Laser Printer, comments!
I am considering purchasing a color laser printer for my network and
would appreciate some feedback.
I have looked at the following:
Konica/Minolta 2430DL
HP 2600N
Can anyone tell me how well they work and are supported by cups as a
network laser printing solution?

Controlling network printer
Hi everyone!
I'm trying to install a network printer (HP 2600n) in my primary domain
controller(samba+ldap), and control the printer, create a list of users able
to print and deny the others, etc.
I've been searching about in Internet, but didn't find anything good to
learn.
Somebody could tell me if is it possible and where can I find some good
mate...

printing problem
...i everybody,
i have a debian etch with samba 3.0.23c-4 (it's not
the latest version) installed. this server is a member
server (print server) of windows 2003 active directory
domain - i'm using winbind to provide single sign-on.
my problem is that i have a network printer HP Color
Laserjet 2600n and it doesn't print using landscape
orientation, just with portrait orientation. i'm using
point and click to install and update workstation's
printer driver - my workstations are win98, win2k and
some winxp.

Samba 3.4 / 3.5: Printer settings not available for normal users

(https://bugzilla.samba.org/show_bug.cgi?id=6727), but it was never finally
fixed. :-(
I meanwhile found postings and bug reports on the web about the same or
similar sounding issues, with different drivers. So it seems, I'm not alone.
We are having the issue here with Sharp MX-2600n drivers.
Do any others encounter the same problem? Or better: Does anybody found a
solution?

Point'n Print setup on Samba4 failing to install drivers
Premise / status: I've set up Samba 4 as an AD controller, and, according to the instructions on the [howto](https://wiki.samba.org/index.php/Samba_as_a_print_server), have established a [print$] share that should allow me to "upload printer drivers for Point'n'Print driver installation." The printers are visible from the Windows client, but the server does not have Windows
