Fixed Point on Renesas M32C?
Hi All,
I'm a Speex newbie wanting to figure if it's worth trying to get the fixed
point decoder working on an M32C processor. It has a hardware 16x16->32
multiply and a 16x16+48->48 multiply/accumulate in about 8 cycles and runs
at 25Mhz. No shortage of RAM.
I'm confident that I could make it work and am willing to commit the effort,
but before I do so I should ask:
1) Does anyone know of a port to this or the M16C series of processors?
2) Is it likely to be feasible (ie: sufficient CPU resource?)
Thanks
Andy

ssh setuid changes.
...- !anonymous && geteuid() == 0,

+ sock = ssh_create_socket(needpriv, ai->ai_family);
If there is problems with having ssh setuid please speak up and
preferable with a patch so I don't have to suffer at the hands of my poor
68k-25mhz box.=)

NeXT Community
I need someone in the NeXT community to apply this to 3.5 and tell me if
it solves the mmap issue where it misdetects a working mmap().
My NeXT box is packed up. If you know anyone in Minnesota that wants a
68k-25mhz Slab w/ 2 B&W monitors, 2 keyboards, 2 mice, NeXT printer and
OS. Have them email me. I won't ship it, but I have no more time to be
handling an OS this old. =) I have no more tolerance to way 20 minutes
for test compiles.

If you don't feel like recompiling, just discard the last byte and don't
rely on the terminator.

Small linux print server
This is a bit off topic, however it's related to a samba based network...
I've got a small network (10 users) running samba on a Linux box with a HP
network printer. This is working so well, that the only network problems
that I have are with printers other printers "shared" by Win 95. Therefore:
I was planning to turn an old 486 with an 80M HDD into a print server,
however the
