Hi,
Is there a bug with the NT MD4 password check??
With one password, I can't access the shares.. in the log it says:
ntlm_password_check: NT MD4 password check failed for user jason
But when I change the password to something else it works.
What's goin on??

Voipjet test account - unable to make calls.
Hi,
I just setup a VoipJet test account (one with 25c credit) to test,
they seem to offer
good rates to 02 Uk mobiles :)
Anyway, everything went ok, iax.conf amended and extensions.conf too,
however when I
try to make a call I see:-

regarding Asium P700
No, the Battery Temp does not change. It is always 25C.
I don't know why the ups.delay.start is that high. Is that user
configurable?
Yes, I have tested the automatic shutdown. Works well.
Yes, the instant commands work, at least those I feel comfortable testing.
Battery test work fine.
I have not enable the write to variables. Did not know that...

Samba 3.0.25c Going Nuts on our Network???
POSTED TO THE LIST W/O ATTACHMENTS
--------
Jerry,
I am sending this to you directly because it contains the tcpdump
information in addition to the samba logs just in case there is sensitive
information contained in the files.
What is happening is that samba 3.0.25c, after first running
smoothly, is becoming very "chatty" across our LAN. I don't know why, but
with no files or applications open, smb is throwing about 4-5 packets a
second at each windows XP client. This was causing noticeable network
slowness. It is definitely 3.0.25c because after...

[PATCH] improved chroot handling
There are a couple of niggles with the sandboxing of the unprivileged
child in the privsep code: the empty directory causes namespace pollution,
and it requires care to ensure that it is set up properly and remains set
up properly. The patch below (against the portable OpenSSH, although the
patch against the OpenBSD version is very similar) replaces the fixed
empty directory with one that is

net join, client tls bug?
QUESTION: Does samba have client side TLS capabilities?
BACKGROUND
Samba ADS compliant distributions tried:
RHEL samba 3.0.10
Blastware samba 3.0.22 (for Solaris 8 and above)
Solaris 9 compilations 3.0.24, 25b, 25c, 26a
My ADS is running in native 2003 mode. The only access I have
to it is to set up Machine accounts.
SMB.CONF
For all versions I used the same smb.conf (see end of document)
NET JOIN USED
./net ads join -S werebear.myrl.ds.home.org -Urw.hornbaker.ad -d10
ALL VERSION PRIOR TO 3.0.25
after ac...
