Slow fsck on adaptec SAS/SATA raid
I'm trying to do an fsck on an ext3 partition but I'm seeing abysmally slow
disk throughput; monitoring with "dstat" (like vmstat) shows ~1200-1500KB/s
throughput to the disks. Even with 24hrs of fsck-ing I only get ~3% (still in
pass1).
The filesystem is ext3 running "e2fsck -C0 /dev/sda3" and about 3.7TB on an
x86_64-based system with 4GB RAM. e2fsprogs is 1.41.9.
During initial periods of the fsck I see throughput in the 30-70MB/s range
(ie, <0.4% complete). Shortly a...

Hi, no one on this list gets paid to help, you certainly haven't paid
anyone for support, so you have no right to moan about not getting help
within 24hrs.
The problem is that it works for myself, but I am in a domain and may in
fact be using the group as well, I would need to do more testing to see
if this is the case, so it needs to go on my to-do list, which is lengthy.
You are using a standalone server, so do your users exist as Unix and

Fast replication
Hi,
I'm trying to get replication to work with a 2 machines setup.
So far full replication is happening at the specified interval (24hrs)
without problem but fast sync is not happening.
The fast sync counter is always equal to full sync unless i exec dsync
manually.

SELinux resource hog
Spinning off from the other thread about SELinux, I just tried to
re-enable SELinux on my personal server hosting just email and forum
for a small local community.
Average load for this Intel Core 2 Duo box with 2GB of ram (usually
with some 1GB free) was generally below 0.4 for the last 24hrs,
averaging 0.23 based on MRTG.
Once I did setenforce 1, load shot through the roof to fluctuate
between 3 to 5. As per my past experience setroubleshootd started
chewing up ram more than 600M and 500M worth of virt and res based on
top. The server started crawling and php apps stopped communicatin...

[cfe-dev] SMT solvers in clang SA
...we got Boolector, MathSAT and Yices ready. CVC4 should be done soon.
When used to refute bugs, they all give roughly the same results: a ~5%
speedup if there are refuted bugs or a ~5% slowdown if no bug is refuted.
I've only tried to analyze one full project (tmux) with Yices; the CSA ran
for 24hrs and it didn't complete the analyze. For comparison, it takes 90s
to analyze it with the ranged constraint manager in the CSA.
Thanks,

SMT solvers in clang SA
Hi all,
Currently studying the impact of SMT solvers on Clang SA. Can anyone help
in telling more about the SMT solvers use in clang SA ? ( Have already
tested Z3 SMT solver implemented in GSoC 2018 , also looking for other SMT
solvers if possible )
Thanks,
Siddharth

vigor 2920 problems
One of our clients has a Draytek Vigor 2920- their natted Snom phones
behind it are registered to an Asterisk 1.4 server on an external public IP.
I've set QOS, bandwidth management and turned off the SIP ALG via telnet

registration if Asterisk is restarted.
I can see the phones sending SIP REGISTER messages, but they

interpolation
Hello R Users,
I am new to R and I have simple problem for R users.
I have CO2 observations defined on time axis(yr,mo,day,hr,min, sec). (DATA
ATTACHED HERE)
First I want to convert time axis as one axis as 'hour' on regular interval
as 1 hour. Say 00 hrs to 24hrs(jan1), 25hrs to 48hrs(jan2) and so on.
Then I want to interpolate CO2 at every hour.
Kindly anybody can help,
Many thanks,
Regards,
Yogesh

Can you run the driver un...

You may have problems if you don't use 'wins'

I will be a bit blunter this time, waiting for 2 weeks before an idle
connection is disconnected is just plain stupid.

Where all you need is:

I have updated my dhcp-dyndns.sh script to match the above and it
appears to be working without errors. If this continues for 24hrs the
wikipage will be updated.
As far as samba-tool is concerned, you will probably have to add
-Udehydrated-service to the command.
