LDAP logonHours problem
Hi!
I have a problem according to the logonHours setting in my Samba Domain.
Users are in LDAP, and everyone has a logonHours attribute, which could be:
- login is possible at any time
- login is only possible between 7AM and 12PM(mindnight), 7h-24h in 24
hours format, I'm going to use 24h format here in this post.
Samba manual states than logonHours is a 168 bit mask, starting with
Sunday 0h-1h, each bit represents an hour of the week, converted into
Hex.
Therefore:
For 'any time' login, I'm using
"FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF...

domain join becomes invalid every 24h
Hello,
I'm facing an issue with a file server working under samba 4.17.12
and joined to my domain as domain member: Every 24h hours the domain
join becomes invalid:
#net ads testjoin
kerberos_kinit_password FILESERVER$@MY.DOMAIN failed: Preauthentication failed
Join to domain is not valid: LDAP_INVALID_CREDENTIALS
Then I need to rejoin to come back to normal:
net ads join --use-krb5-ccache=CCACHE
The domain is controll...

...ing the domain.
I have found those 2 names in the AD and in krb5.keytab.
So I've deleted the faulty name from AD,
samba-tool computer delete testfileserver
leave the domain,
net ads leave -Uadmin
move away krb5.keytab and join the domain again.
mv /etc/ krb5.keytab
net ads join -Uadmin
After 24h every the join is still ok. Proble solved
Thanks you a lot for your help !

paste dimnames problem
Hello,
I've the following list n:

[[3]]
[1] "000mM" "010mM" "025mM" "050mM" "100mM"

n <- dimnames(some.multidim.array)
I'm trying to define a generic function that generates meaningful names from this list, e.g. NEW.04h.000mM would be the first name, then NEW....

finding messages deleted before timespec
...9;ve been pondering about doveadm-search-query(7) and trying to
formulate a search query for some time now and it seems there is no way
to search for messages, which have been marked DELETED before a certain
time.
I want to use this to expunge all DELETED messages which have been in
that state for 24h or longer.
For example a cronjob runs at midnight to expunge those messages but a
user deletes one just 10 minutes before that, this message should not be
deleted until the day after.
This is my first time diving deeper into IMAP search queries so I have
the nagging feeling I am missing something...

Up to 7 days if renewed within 24h, if I understand correctly
(ticket_lifetime = 24h, renew_lifetime = 7d).

Static server side listing
I've looking for a solution for this and no amount of googling has
come up with anything.
Is it possible to provide a static listing on a server, say every
24 hours, that a standard end-user rsync can pull and use?
I have a lot of files to provide and the idea of every request
dynamically providing a file list in real time is killing my
server and is simply not needed. I am quite prepared to

Yes I'm using sssd and I didn't posted idmap config lines to keep it

plotting the following data
Hi,
I need to plot $time on the x-axis and $f on the y-axis for the following
data:
time f
0h 0.00
0.5h 0.54
1h 1.15
2h 2.33
4h 1.57
6h 2.19
18h 1.45
24h 1.79
I want the order of the data-points to be retained and the x-coordinates of
each of the 8 data-points to be equally spaced.
however, using plot($time, $f) completely scrambles the ordering of the
points.
Any pointers to this newbie on how to plot these data points accurately will
be much ap...

Rsync 2.4.6 error : transfer interrupted (code 12) at token.c(255)
Hi,
I got the following error synchronising between to servers :
2002/07/04 20:58:39 [68722] transfer interrupted (code 12) at token.c(255)
Between other servers rsync is OK without any error. Is it a know bug ?
I can't easily upgrade rsync because it's running on a server running
24h/24h 7/7. So before upgrading I need elements to explain the problem
which occurs.
Thank's for your help

Performance problem with ACCESS MDB files

everything works fine. This should discard any network hardware problem.
The application developed with Visual Basic aborts time to time
reporting "Couldn't update, database read only.". This application is
used to control the utilization of our equipment and runs normally
24/24h and used to be OK under NOVELL.
I've look to performance and locking parameters, and they seem OK.
The network hardware seems healthy. The number of collisions has
dramatically improved now we only have TCP/IP and can't see any obvious
problem if I check the netstat statistics.
