CPU usage over estimated?
I have a quad core CPU running Centos5. When I use top, I see that running processes use 245% instead of 100%. If I use gkrellm, I just see one core being used 100%. top: PID USER PR NI VIRT RES SWAP SHR S %CPU %MEM TIME+ COMMAND 18037 thba 31 15 304m 242m 62m 44m R 245.3 4.1 148:58.72 ic Also in the log of some programs I see this strange factor: CPU Seconds = 2632 Wall Clock Seconds = 1090 There are all single threaded programs, so it's not that more cores are being used. Wish-to-have in Asterisk
Dear Pals I think all of us in this business (or most) looking at the Corn Flakes Back Side , Wish to find a NAT Friendly VOIP solution. Thats ridiculous I know, but what about this wish list (Personal Point of view) Upnp support for Asterisk STUN Support for Asterisk Small Embedded Asterisk (just to redirect IAX) SIP-IAX , h.323-IAX or something like that , on the End Point. Can't run KVM Virtual Machines on a Gluster volume
I just built a 2 node(4 bricks), Distributed-Replicated and everything mounts fine. Each node mounts using GlusterFS client on its hostname (mount -t glusterfs hostname:VOLUME /virtual-machines) When creating a new Virtual Machine using virt-manager it creates the file on the storage, but when trying to power it On, it doesn't work and gives back an error message.(See below. Yes the folder has

unaccounted for daily growth in ZFS disk space usage
We finally flipped the switch on one of our ZFS-based servers, with approximately 1TB of 2.8TB (3 stripes of 950MB or so, each of which is a RAID5 volume on the adaptec card). We have snapshots every 4 hours for the first few days. If you add up the snapshot references it appears somewhat high versus daily use (mostly mail boxes, spam, etc changing), but say an aggregate of no more than 400+MB a
