mailbox encryption
Hello, I've got dovecot 2.3 going, and I've got a file 10-mailcrypt.conf which is loading mail_crypt, thinking that that plugin would propagate through all the services, sieve, lmtp, and mailbox message storage. I'm not seeing anything in the logs indicating that the encryption is happening. I am using a file format dbox specifically sdbox format, and in my mailbox I am seeing files

mailbox encryption
Hello, Thanks, I think I have it. The message files the u5 and u6 files are showing up as data, and they sure look encrypted to me. One thing is there a way to get logging of output of the mail_crypt module? What I'm wanting to have if possible is a user gets a message, the logs show message being encrypted, then stored to disk? Thanks. Dave. On 6/17/19, Aki Tuomi <aki.tuomi at

issue with .local() hack used in S4 methods
Hi, Just ran across this: ??? foo <- function(x, ..., z=22) z ??? setMethod("foo", "character", function(x, y=-5, z=22) y) ??? # Creating a generic function from function ?foo? in the global environment Then: ??? foo("a") ??? # [1] 22 Should return -5, not 22. That's because the call to .local() used internally by the foo() method does not name

On-delivery deduplication?
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA256 Hi, A feature of Cyrus-IMAPd I really missed after migrated to Dovecot is their optional "duplicate suppression", which eliminates duplicate message at deliver time, if their envelope sender, recipient and message-id matches. For example, if one subscribes to a mailing list, and someone hit "Reply All" to reply to him, there
