size of netinst iso
Hi.
I was wanting to set up a centos 6 virtual machine using the netinst iso
image. I've done this for Centos 5 before but I was surprised to see
that the size of the netinst iso had gone from +/- 10Mb to 227Mb. I was
therefore wondering if I had the right file? If so, why did it get 22x
bigger then the previous version?

Help with English Stars3
hello world
I have a problem with the cd in question, which is a cd for the teaching of English with exercises and games. The video is very slow but the audio is fine then I do not think is a problem of memory or processor because all the minimum requirements are met.
I think it is a problem of video libraries. Do give me advice on how to configure wine to use libraries or what?
Thank you!!

hash-caching improved this to 24x amortized, sortorder-caching was most

IPFW disconnections and resets
Hi,
I am using IPFW on FreeBSD 4.11
I am facing two problems:
- SSH sessions timeout after a while
- When I run "/sbin/ipfw -q -f flush" in the rules script all connection
get reset (and I am thrown out of the box).
Is this standard functioning of ipfw or do I need to change any
configuration?
Thanks,
Siddhartha

Having problems with BLF
Hi,
I'm having a problem getting a snom 300 to work with BLF (extension
222). I've set it to watch extension 220 in the function key config
pages as per the wiki (BLF, <sip:220 at server.com>) but I can't get the
light to come on when 220 is ringing. The SIP trace page doesn't show
anything coming from my PBX when 220 is ringing or in use. Any help
much appreciated as this

1000 analogue lines with asterisk
+1
spending money to get that many fxs ports is going to negate any savings of
reusing analog phones instead of buying ip phones
1000 analog ports sounds like hell and if it was me I would be embarrassed
to have a setup like that tied to my name if I was a consultant etc.
Someone will come in after you and ask who set it up and the customer will
say you :)

creating a fast ZIL device for $200
Recently, I''ve been reading through the ZIL/slog discussion and
have the impression that a lot of folks here are (like me)
interested in getting a viable solution for a cheap, fast and
reliable ZIL device.
I think I can provide such a solution for about $200, but it
involves a lot of development work.
The basic idea: the main problem when using a HDD as a ZIL device
are the cache flushes
