London "Puppet Muppets" meetup - Thurs 22nd March
Well I have thought of a bunch of good names, but unfortunately that is
the one that seems to have stuck :D
So a bunch of us will be assembling in the Old Bank of England pub in
Fleet Street, London, next Thursday, at about 7pm for a social evening
of drinks and chatter more or less related to Puppet. Everyone that
wants to come along is welcome, whether or not you use Puppet or are

Interpreting as.factor
...as.factor i.e.
lm(y ~x +as.factor(x1)
and i read the output as
as.factor(x1)1....
as.factor(x1)2...
etc.
how do i interpret the estimate for each level? Is this simply to be
regarded as a shift in the equation predicted by the intercept and
independent variable x?

appropriate for the scope of what you're proposing to do.
A number of the proposals don't currently have a matching patch
contribution, but it's not too late to work on one - the initial phase
of proposal review is until April 22nd when we need to tell Google how
many slots we'd like. If you start now you should have time to
implement a bug fix or small feature and then work through the patch
submission process.

Status of the git.llvm.org git repos
...te LLVM and Clang git repos hosted at git.llvm.org would be maintained for a year after the transition to the mono repo. I don't recall where I got that impression from; probably from some of the many emails on the migration topic. I noticed today that updates to these repos ceased on October 22nd of last year following transition to the mono repo. Was I simply mistaken that these repos were not going to be maintained along with the (read-only) svn repo? We had not planned to complete our own transition to the mono repo until a little later this year, but if these repos are no longer maint...

Issue with puppet file serving api not parsing yaml content correctly
I am working on building a facter tag based node classifier similar to
https://github.com/jordansissel/puppet-examples/tree/master/nodeless-puppet/.
However, I have run into an issue where I cannot use puppet''s require
file ability to push the yaml file containing the facts file to the
client because it would require two runs of puppet to pickup changes.
Consequently, I have written into
