I tried Dovecot 1.2.beta1 yesterday. I had been using 1.1.11. I started getting "Panic: POP3(xxx): Trying to allocate 0 bytes" There are two kinds of pop3 users. I am testing out the new Dovecot 1.2.beta1 software. I am getting reports from people using POP3 that it randomly drops connections. Looking at the log file I see that the POP3 process they were connecting to panics and dumps a Raw bactrace.
