PDF graphics -- color weirdness (PR#2281)
Full_Name: Jenny Bryan Version: 1.4.1 OS: Linux + Windows 2000 Submission from: (NULL) (24.80.7.215) I'm using R 1.4.1 to make PDF graphics in a Linux environment. I then include them in a LaTeX document that I'm actually typesetting in Windows. I don't think the OSes have anything to do with this. I use the foils documentclass, pdflatex to typeset, ppower4 to postprocess the pdf

Adding title to colorkey
...12.05.001 R is not yet that prominent (compared to matlab) in Neuroscience, so I doubt many of the graphs were generated by levelplot() and friends. However, how can the colorkey be labelled? I notice that this topic has been raised before, e.g. http://tolstoy.newcastle.edu.au/R/e16/help/11/11/2281.html For now, I've done: library(lattice) library(grid) levelplot(matrix(1:9,3,3), par.settings = list(layout.widths = list(axis.key.padding = 4))) grid.text('title here', y=unit(0.5, "npc"), rot=90, x=unit(0.88, "npc")) i.e. adding some space...

can't ping to an internal IP through tinc's virtual interfaces
Hi. As I wrote some days ago (It worked! [Was: my two hosts don't see each other]) I succeeded at setting up a tinc VPN between two hosts (isivirtual and pamvirtual) I tried to ping from pamvirtual, the external machine, to an internal IP of 'isivirtual' but it doesn't work. Neither 'traceroute'. What's going on? At 'isivirtual' routing (ip forwarding) is

Slider controls
Heya! Thanks to Marty Haught, script.aculo.us (as of changeset 2281) now sports a new Control for horizontal and vertical sliders. See the functional test file (test/functional/slider_test.html) for information on how to use it. Basically, you do: <div id="track1" style="width:200px;background-color:#aaa;height:5px;"> <div i...

samba 4 dns-update issue
...er. All looks right, except for my ddns. The zone could not be updated with the new win7 machine. The win7 machine has a fixed ip-address. I checked all the howto again and again, but couldn't find a thing which could cause this. The error I see in my log is: Aug 11 09:34:46 sambaserver named[2281]: client 192.168.122.150#60058: query 'roland.quinox.be/SOA/IN' denied Is this a permission problem?
