SAMBA partial digest 2125
Hi!
I have just installed Samba 2.0.0 on a Sun server running Solaris 2.6.
Everything works fine on the server, but not when I try to connect from a PC
running Win98. I foloowed the steps in "Diagnosis.txt" and everything is fine
until I try Test 8, namely to run the command "net view \\servername" on the PC
client. I then get a wrong password error ("Error 86").

Investigation with Wireshark showed that after receiving an AS-REQ for a TGT with the forwardable flag set, the Samba 4.5.12 DC responds a KRB5KDC_ERR_POLICY with e-text "Ticket may not be forwardabale" (same as kinit -f). This behavior is correct according to CVE-2016-2125 (https://www.samba.org/samba/security/CVE-2016-2125.html) which states:

The UF_NOT_DELEGATED can be used to disable the ability to get forwardable TGT
for the account. It means the KDC will respond with an error if the client asks
for the forwardable ticket. The clie...

diff.prop is a vector, I want to convert it to a time series starting from Nov 1997 on a monthly basis. However when it's created it starts from 2007. It's happening on both R 1.8.1 and R 1.9.0 on Windows XP Pro

RELENG_4_8 isos?
I've built RELENG_4 isos no problem, is there a trick to building the
RELENG_4_8 isos? I am building the 'miniinst' disk - that is, with
the release, docs, and a port tree, but no ports. This is so I can do
a fresh install without having to update the world... I am using a
script that looks like this...
#!/bin/sh
rm -rf /usr/obj
cd /usr/src
make -DNOCLEAN world kernel
