Telecom echo cancel disable
Disabled echo canceller because of tone (tx) on channel 10 I understand that the PSTN companies use their own echo canceller's, send a tone across 2100hz, the problem we're having is people are complaining of echo on random calls. I'm assuming this may be the cause. Is their anyway to 'ignore' the disabling of EC? Or would be just be a manual code change.. Matt

dahdi wcb4xxp and fax
Hi all, I wanted to switch from my current setup (mISDN) to the native dahdi with b410p support (wcb4xp). All works fine for normal phone calls but not for faxing. Faxes are distorted, if arriving at all, and hylafax logs the usual bad stuff (HDLC frame not byte-oriented.) Our setup uses a digium b410p card with asterisk 1.6, latest libpri and dahdi, hylafax with iaxmodem, and all this on 1

Slightly OT and mildly insane: Modems through VoIP :-))
Hi, First off, let me state that _YES, I am fully aware that what I am doing is insane, prone to major havoc and bad for general health_ :-)) Scenario: My GF needs an analog modem to use with her banking software (sodding backs don't supply a decent web-application for company use). I am experimenting to see if we can get it to work (albeit slow) trough our ATA186 talking g711 to

rxfax() problem - fax signal seems to be ignored
...ll. All I see in Cool96 is that the fax send its CNG (a 1100Hz tone during 0.5severy 3 seconds), and that Asterisk application app_rxfax() answer with an exactly identical tone. I am not very specialist of T.30 protocol, but I thought that in this case SPANDSP would have answered with a CED tone (a 2100Hz tone during 2.5s), like explained here (http://www.eicon.com/support/helpweb/dssdk/i200.htm) This is not the case in my setup. What did I wrong? Thx for your help. --Pirlouwi -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... URL: http://lists.digium.com/pipermail/asterisk-...
