[LLVMdev] goto in inline asm
Is goto from inline asm supported in LLVM 2.8 ? I am searching for something similar to what gcc 4.5 does: http://gcc.gnu.org/onlinedocs/gcc/Extended-Asm.html#Extended%20asm%20with%20goto http://gcc.gnu.org/onlinedocs/gcc/Extended-Asm.html#Extended%20asm%20with%20goto which allows jumping from inline assembly to a label defined in C. I want to jump from inline asm to a basic block in LLVM. As far as I know in LLVM 2.7 this was not yet possible. Is it allowed a jump like th...

Xen 4.2 with xcp-xapi - operation not permitted
New build with Ubuntu 13.04 and Xen 4.2. Installed XCP-XAPI as the plan was to use XenCenter to manage the installation. I pretty much followed this guide here: https://help.ubuntu.com/community/Setting%20up%20Xen%20and%20XAPI%20(XenAPI)%20on%20Ubuntu%20Server%2012.04%20LTS%20and%20Managing%20it%20With%20Citrix%20XenCenter%20or%20OpenXenManager With a few changes for things that have been fixed since. Installation went smoothly with no issues - only change was to add my user to the root group so he could login via XenCenter. When I go to create a new VM it all proceeds smoothly until the point...

...st from the Fedora list for those that read both I am running into a bit of a problem, Yesterday, I set up my webserver (FC2) with samba so that I can authenticate against the active directory as per the instructions in http://www.billboswellconsulting.com/files/Authenticating%20Linux%20desk tops%20with%20AD.pdf When I log in to the fedora box using my Domain admin username and password, it works nicely, the problem that I am hitting is that any user trying to access the box from the network can hit the two shares (which happen to contain the websites (for editing purposes) but cannot access the...

Speex on EFM32
In fact, on my shelf is running speex using Raisonance Primer2 DK and IAR STM32-SK DK. But I want to save the power consumption of the device runnig speex, and EFM32 seems to be a very good candidate. Also, do yo think that the STM32F103 (Cortex M3 90 MIPS) could be used to run Speex at 4 Kbps in real time? Regards, Nicolas 2010/3/3 Jean-Marc Valin <jean-marc.valin at usherbrooke.ca> >

Quorum in distributed-replicate volume
...;ve configured 6 bricks as distributed-replicated with replica 2, expecting that all active bricks would be usable so long as a quorum of at least 4 live bricks is maintained. However, I have just found http://docs.gluster.org/en/latest/Administrator%20Guide/Split%20brain%20and%20ways%20to%20deal%20with%20it/ Which states that "In a replica 2 volume... If we set the client-quorum option to auto, then the first brick must always be up, irrespective of the status of the second brick. If only the second brick is up, the subvolume becomes read-only." Does this apply only to a two-brick rep...

Using GPO to mount shares on Linux
Hello, I'm using a Samba 4 as domain server and I've a lot of Windows computers that mounts shared drives on another server through GPO applied by user groups. Is there any way to do something similar on a Linux box, or I've to use a local script? Thanks! -- _________________________________________ Daniel Carrasco Marín Ingeniería para la Innovación i2TIC, S.L.

GlusterFS as virtual machine storage
*shrug* I don't use arbiter for vm work loads just straight replica 3. There are some gotchas with using an arbiter for VM workloads. If quorum-type is auto and a brick that is not the arbiter drop out then if the up brick is dirty as far as the arbiter is concerned i.e. the only good copy is on the down brick you will get ENOTCONN and your VMs will halt on IO.
