Hi Doran
The documentation for isTRUE reads 'isTRUE(x)' is an abbreviation of
'identical(TRUE,x)' so actually Vincent's solutions is "cleaner" than
using identical :)

VoIP/Asterisk presentation
For those interested, I'm giving a talk about VoIP/enum.164/asterisk
tonight in Sydney at the Sydney LUG meeting which is about 7pm in the UTS
build #2, 4th floor, room 10.
Sorry for the late notice, it didn't occur to me that there might be
people on this list interested and able to attend etc...

IVR Menu
...i,
I made a simple menu using the Background application and some wav files. I converted the wav files using
for a in *.wav; do sox "$a" -r 8000 -c1 "`echo $a|sed -e s/wav//`gsm"; done
(from http://www.voip-info.org/wiki/index.php?page=Convert%20WAV%20audio%20files%20for%20use%20in%20Asterisk)
The first two files "01/bemvindo" and "01/menu_top" are good. But the third file (01/menu_top), fails in the end of the sentence, and this message "Auto fallthrough, channel 'SIP/dov.bigio-ae4a' status is 'UNKNOWN'" appears in the console....

Debugging multiple imputation in mice
...his behaviour? I
have been going through the recent mice manual[1], but is there
something in particular I should be looking at? I guess a bigger
question is, should I also be experimenting with other packages such as
Amelia and mi?
Thanks,

Multiple imputation using mice
...3rd Qu. Max.

etc.
Now my question is, in such cases, would it be better to use pmm for this
variable instead, or should I instead use the squeeze() function in MICE? I
read a paper explaining MICE:
http://www.stefvanbuuren.nl/publications/MICE%20in%20R%20-%20Draft.pdf, but
I am still unsure how to proceed. I would be really grateful for some
advise, thanks!

installing tree pkg on linux
I am having trouble installing the tree package on linux.
I followed all the steps in section 5.2 of the FAQ
http://www.ci.tuwien.ac.at/~hornik/R/R-FAQ.html#How%20can%20add-on%20packages%20be%20installed%3f
In particular, I typed 'R CMD INSTALL -l /home/cs/murphyk/R
tree_1.0-2.tar.gz'. This created the files 'LibIndex', 'R.css' and a
subdirectory called 'tree'.
I then created a ~/.Renviron file with the line
'R_LIBS="/home/cs/murphyk/R"'....
