[PATCH 0 of 9] swiotlb: use phys_addr_t for pages
Hi all,
Here''s a work in progress series whcih does a partial revert of the
previous swiotlb changes, and does a partial replacement with Becky
Bruce''s series.
The most important difference is Becky''s use of phys_addr_t rather
than page+offset to represent arbitrary pages. This turns out to be
simpler.
I didn''t replicate the map_single_page changes, since

[RFC V4 PATCH 0/8] Packed ring layout for vhost
Hi all:
This RFC implement packed ring layout. The code were tested with
Tiwei's RFC V3 ahttps://lkml.org/lkml/2018/4/25/34. Some fixups and
tweaks were needed on top of Tiwei's code to make it run for event
index.
Pktgen reports about 20% improvement on PPS (event index is off). More
testing is ongoing.
Notes for tester:
- Start from this version, vhost need qemu co-operation to work

[net-next V3 0/2] drivers: net: virtio_net: implement
This series add two important features. One of them changes the
.ndo_tx_timeout to include an extra parameter to identify the stuck
queue. Many drivers are using a nester loop to identify which queue is
stooped/stucked. This is a redundant work since dev_watchdog is doing
exactly the same thing. This is so interesting for other drivers to in
terms of code optimization.

[PATCH net-next v11 0/3] netdev: ndo_tx_timeout cleanup
Sorry about the churn, v10 was based on net - not on net-next
by mistake.
A bunch of drivers want to know which tx queue triggered a timeout,
and virtio wants to do the same.
We actually have the info to hand, let's just pass it on to drivers.
Note: tested with an experimental virtio patch by Julio.
That patch itself isn't ready yet though, so not included.
Other drivers compiled only.

a saner API for allocating DMA addressable pages v2
Hi all,
this series replaced the DMA_ATTR_NON_CONSISTENT flag to dma_alloc_attrs
with a separate new dma_alloc_pages API, which is available on all
platforms. In addition to cleaning up the convoluted code path, this
ensures that other drivers that have asked for better support for
non-coherent DMA to pages with incurring bounce buffering over can finally
be properly supported.
