disk space trouble on ec2 instance
Hey all,
Ok, so I've been having some trouble for a while with an EC2 instance
running CentOS 5.11 with a disk volume reporting 100% usage. Root is on an
EBS volume.
So I've tried the whole 'du -sk | sort -nr | head -10' routine all around
this volume getting rid of files. At first I was getting rid of about 50MB
of files. Yet the volume remains at 100% capacity.

use linux user account information on samba
Dear list,
I am having real trouble using the linux authentication system with samba. I
have a configured kerberos and ldap server and authenticate in linux using
nslcd. nfs4 works fine in the linux world. Unfortunately, I am forced :( to have
some windows machines which are supposed to connect to linux fileservers. If I
understand correctly, I can use sssd on the samba ad domain controller to

validates_date plugin for ActiveRecord
This plugin gives ActiveRecord the ability to do stricter date checking.
Example:
class Person < ActiveRecord::Base
validates_date :date_of_birth
end
This will ensure that date_of_birth is a *valid* date. The date can be set
initially as a string in any of the following formats:
"2006-01-01"
"1 Jan 06", or "1 Jan 2006"
"1/1/06" # Day /

from X-session in local console, it started a massive swapping, this time

Migration issue
Hi All,
I have tried the below command to migrate the data from the old
server(dovecot version: 2.0.9) to new servers(dovecot version: 2.2.36
(1f10bfa63)). But it's throwing an error.
old server name: production1
new server1 name: production2 (for HA/Replication)
new server2 name: production3 (for HA/Replication)
I have configured replication between production2 and production3, which is
