Clients no longer updating DNS & unable to delete MX records
Hello,
After noticing some odd behavior on my domain, I realized that many of my
DNS records are incorrect and that clients are no longer properly updating
DNS. While looking into this, I also discovered that I am unable to delete
MX records via AD DNS Manager or samba-tool. Both tools "see" the record
but report it does not exist when I attempt to delete it. I can create new

interpolation
Dear R-users,
I have a complex line by xy-values (ordered by z).
And I would like to get interpolated y-values on the positions of x = 0:600.
How do I get the correct points?
x=c(790,790,790,790,790,786,783,778,778,766,763,761,761,761,715,628,521,350,160,134,134,129,108,101,93,111,161,249,288,243,139,45,7)

SuSE 10 no network in dom0 - arp problem?
Hello.
I have installed the SuSE Linux 10 XEN kernel but no domU yet. Now I
cannot ping to and from dom0. I get lots of ARP broadcasts from dom0
but dom0 seems to ignore ARP answers. When pinging to dom0 it ignores
arp requests. This happens regardless xend is running or not. This
happens in the xen kernel only, when booting stock kernel all works
as expected.
What can I do?

reproducible segmentation fault caused by textConnection()
Dear all,
It seems that textConnection() can trigger a segmentation fault. The
following script (using two large loops) makes this bug reproducible:
for (i in 1:10000) {
z=textConnection(NULL,open='w')
for (j in 1:100) {
write(runif(1)*1e6,file=z)
write('\n',file=z)
}
close(z)
}
The bug could be reproduced on R-2.6.1, R-2.7.0 and on the latest

How to enable file and print sharing
I'm running the latest wine version on fedora 13 and when I try to install ACT! on wine I get this window saying that I need to enable file and print sharing before I can install the software.
I already installed winetricks and .net framework v 2.0 but I have no idea how to enable file sharing.
Can anybody help me?

...confused about is why it always shows the ping times at right
around 2000 ms. That just can't be right. It's always right at 2000
ms. Never less or more by more than 100 or so.

problem with geom_point in ggplot using a different column
I want to draw boxplot where the geom_points are displayed based on
"ERBB2.MUT" subset and they should be displayed in the right box (based
both on the "ERBB2.2064" field and "ERBB2_Status").
However, given my command I currently only see "red" points corresponding
to "MUT" subset in one straight line corresponding to only "ERBB2.2064"
stratification on x-axis. It dosen't take into account the "ERBB2.Stat...

[LLVMdev] Confusing buildbot failure in LLVM on sanitizer-x86_64-linux
Alexey, I got mail from one of the tsan buildbots, claiming a breakage
in tsan tests. But I cannot see anything on the logs it has for the
build.
http://lab.llvm.org:8011/builders/sanitizer-x86_64-linux/builds/17916/steps/run%2064-bit%20tsan%20unit%20tests/logs/stdio
Any ideas? Thanks. Diego.

CPU usage over estimated?
I have a quad core CPU running Centos5.
When I use top, I see that running processes use 245% instead of 100%.
If I use gkrellm, I just see one core being used 100%.
top:
PID USER PR NI VIRT RES SWAP SHR S %CPU %MEM TIME+ COMMAND
18037 thba 31 15 304m 242m 62m 44m R 245.3 4.1 148:58.72 ic
Also in the log of some programs I see this strange factor:
CPU Seconds = 2632
