Questions about jump threading optimization and what we can do
I am not convinced this is a jump-threading issue, but in the domain of ScalarEvolution. ScEv would need to find out which of the exits are taken or whether it loops infinitely. One can see that it exits after 10000 iterations, but ScalarEvolution cannot tell: https://godbolt.org/z/dCqdvv Michael Am Mo., 3. build bot mails
At Arm we are not receiving any build bot mails from llvm.buildmaster at lab.llvm.org. Our IT is a bit in the dark what's going on here (they don't see anything in logs, no failures, no connections), their hunch is that is a "DNS (MX record) issue on llvm.org's end". I don't know who to contact or how to progress this. Anyone perhaps an idea? Cheers, Sjoerd.

ASAN not finding any bugs?
Hello, I am building sanitizers for our different platforms and trying to use it in an example program, but while it seems like ASAN is running it's init functions (see stdout below with ASAN_OPTIONS=verbosity=1) it never catches anything in the program. This is LLVM 8.0.1 btw. I was using this small test case: int main(int argc, char** argv) { int *array = new int[100]; delete []

Questions about jump threading optimization and what we can do
How does the code you would like to have look like? I don't see a relevant difference compared to gcc: https://godbolt.org/z/F-oah4 (clang unnecessarily introduces another temporary register, but that seems unrelated) Michael Am So., 2.
