[LLVMdev] Autotuning parameters/heuristics within LLVM
Hi, I am planning to begin a project to explore the space of tuning LLVM internals in an effort to increase performance. I am wondering if anyone can point to me any parameterizations, heuristics, or priorities functions within LLVM that can be tuned/adjusted. So far, I'm considering BranchProbabilityInfo and InlineCost. Does anyone have any other suggestions? Thanks, Robert

[LLVMdev] Can libc++ build for arm cross compiler?
Hi cschen, Here are the test scripts which I written when I was developing ARM exception handling support: https://github.com/loganchien/libcxx-scripts The script should work on Debian wheezy (cross-compiling from amd64 to armhf.) In general, here are the necessary steps: 1. Get a working arm-linux-gnueabihf gcc/g++ toolchain (for the headers and libraries) 2. Setup the include search path

updating for XSA-108 -
So... it is theorized that XSA-108 is why amazon is rebooting. Is there any way for me to know when this update hits CentOS5 or xen4centos6? Do we know that it is *not* included in one of the centos patches?

[LLVMdev] Need guidance regarding MachineFunctionPass
Respected Dr. Criswell, My problem is that the output of following code looks nothing like any opcode: *for(MachineBasicBlock::iterator I = BB->begin(); I != BB->end(); ) { MachineInstr *mi = I; int op = mi->getOpcode(); std::cout << op << '\t'; }* I need to identify specific instructions in my MachineFunctionPass and I was hoping that I can
