1.21 vs 1.3 encoding speed
Hello, I'm on a Mac and I'm noticing that encoding via the flac command line is significantly slower with version 1.3.0 than 1.2.1. I'm encoding a 24/96 file to flac, both from wav and aiff and both formats are showing the same speed decrease when using 1.3.0. Also, 1.2.1 will not encode an aiff-c file, but 1.3.0 will. Is this change documented anywhere? Thanks, Scott --------------

I'm compiling compiler-rt via CMake+Ninja on x86_64+ArchLinux and one of the tests fails on ToT: MemorySanitizer :: chained_origin_with_signals.cc The text expects uninitialized warnings while the execution prints nothing, thus FileCheck fails. Anyone seeing this? cheers, --renato

[LLVMdev] sys::path::system_temp_directory vs. sys::fs::createTemporaryFile
Hi, all. I noticed recently that llvm::sys::fs::createTemporaryFile does not use llvm::sys::path::system_temp_directory, instead relying on its platform-specific helper TempFile. Is there any reason for this disparity? The two implementations are not in sync, either: - TempDir honors TMPDIR, TMP, TEMP, TEMPDIR, and a configuration-settable P_tmpdir on Unix-y systems. system_temp_directory just
