Install 6.2 via wireless
Folks I have a HP 8540w workstation, and just for kicks, I wanted to see if I could install Centos 6.2 using only the wireless connection, and the cd/dvd reader. I tried the "net-install" CD image, but it never found the wireless adaptor. How for up the chain must I go to succeed? Net-install (doesn-work) CD containing minimal DVD containing the full image? This effort was more

dovecot stats: useful data to gather
Timo, following our discussion on dovecot stats at the LinuxTag 2012 my team and I sat down and put together a list of stat items we think to be useful in daily dovecot usage. Besides pulling together all the data we also think it would be useful to have an SNMP interface to access the stats. Our offer to create and contribute a standalone web interface for dovecot stats stands. Here are the

One of the first things we had to implement in order to make LLVM usable is something very similar to what Justin has proposed. Centralizing control of the output in outs()/errs() would

[LLVMdev] DFG of machine functions
I tried debugging it and the issue seems to be in the implementation of MachineInstrIterator.h and the way it interacts with GraphWriter.h functions. I found this by replacing the ( template <> struct GraphTraits<MCDFGraph<MachineFunction*> >) with a similar MCDFGraph based template of CFG similar to the one in MachineFunction.h (similarly replacing the DOTGraphTraits with the

[LLVMdev] DFG of machine functions
Hi, I am trying to generate the DFG of machine functions. Initially, I added a pass to generate the DFG of LLVM IR functions. This was based on the mail thread - http://lists.cs.uiuc.edu/pipermail/llvmdev/2009-September/025582.html. This pass worked fine and I was able to generate DFG of LLVM IR functions. Later, I ported the DFG pass code for machine functions. I ported the InstIterator.h

Why Are You Using FreeBSD?
Hi Everyone, This is off-topic, so please feel free to disregard it, but I'm sending it to this list in the hope that it will reach a largish number of users. I am currently looking at updating some of our advocacy material (which advertises exciting new features like SMP support), and before I do I'd like to get a better feel for why the rest of you are using FreeBSD. If you had to
