[LLVMdev] Load serialisation during selection DAG building
...update the scheduler to be more intelligent about how it forms the dependency graph. This has since been developed for the new MI scheduling framework by Sergei Larin, and was committed in r156842 (last message in the discussion thread was http://lists.cs.uiuc.edu/pipermail/llvm-commits/Week-of-Mon-20120507/142659.html) I would recommend trying something like Sergei's solution first, and fall back to trying to play with the critical chain only if that can't or won't work. -Hal On Mon, 13 Aug 2012 11:29:18 +0100 Steve Montgomery <stephen.montgomery3 at btinternet.com> wrote: >...

[LLVMdev] Load serialisation during selection DAG building
I've got a question about how SelectionDAGBuilder treats loads. The LLVM Language Reference Manual explicitly states that the order of volatile operations may be changed relative to non-volatile operations. However, when the SelectionDAGBuilder in LLVM 3.1 encounters a volatile load, it flushes all pending loads and then chains the volatile load onto them meaning that the volatile load must

If it proves to be sufficient, then we're done, and I'm prepared to support it. http://lists.cs.uiuc.edu/pipermail/llvm-commits/Week-of-Mon-20120507/142662.html If you also want to continue developing the SelectionDAG scheduler for the next 6 months, then Hal's patch is a good start. There's not much benefit in checking that patch into trunk because it will be disabled, thus untested. That only makes sense if someone is actively workin...

Equivalent RHEL package for CentOS httpd package?
I'm trying to find out if a particular RedHat patch has been ported to CentOS yet. In particular, this vulnerability: CVE-2011-3607 According to this: https://rhn.redhat.com/errata/RHSA-2012-0323.html it has been patched as of httpd-2.2.3-63.el5_8.1.x86_64.rpm Now, in the latest CentOS repository, I find httpd-2.2.3-63.el5.centos.1.x86_64.rpm Is this the same (or later) release? [LLVMdev] NVPTX annotation metadata emission
This new metadata format is currently optional. The old ptx_kernel calling convention should still work. The only thing you should have to change when converting from PTX -> NVPTX is the address space map. The calling conventions and intrinsics should be compatible with both. > -----Original Message----- > From: llvmdev-bounces at cs.uiuc.edu [mailto:llvmdev-bounces at cs.uiuc.edu]
