[LLVMdev] Question about local variables
It looks like the AsmWriter is generating the local variables (SlotNum)s on
the fly in that file (AsmWriter.cpp), so is there any way at all to get this
information from the operation itself, via Instruction, Value or Type?

Nope! As you noticed, they're created on the fly...

handling of final partial block in rsync
Greetings,
I have been using the rsync C source as a guide for porting the rsync
algorithm to Java. This has been successful, but there is one low level
detail I am having some issues with.
Assuming the default block size of 700 bytes, when stepping through the
file and generating checksums for each block it is very likely that
there will be a partial block at the end of the file. Right now

[Bug 8565] New: rsync hangs when using --only-write-batch and --hard-links
...ed result:
rsync exits normally (leaving behind a well-formed batch_file) or at least
exits with an error
Actual result:
rsync hangs indefinitely, causing any script which called it to wait on it
forever
I confirmed the issue with the sources in
http://rsync.samba.org/ftp/rsync/nightly/rsync-HEAD-20111022-1730GMT.tar.gz but
3.0.9 was already affected.

Running R with browser without installing anything
Dear all, the company I work for has Matlab installed for
statistical/mathematical calculations and really not ready to go with R
(even installing exe file for R). Therefore I was wondering is it possible
to do analysis R using browser like IE, without installing anything?
Thanks for your suggestion.

What other local variables are you referring to? When AsmWriter prints
"%y = add i32 %x, 1", the name of that add instruction is "y" and
