[LLVMdev] Why int variable get promoted to i64
Hi, all I found in some cases the int variable get promoted to i64, although I think it should i32. I use the online demo (http://llvm.org/demo). And below is the test case. ------------- test case ------------- int test(int x[], int y[], int n) { int i = 0; int sum = 0; for ( ; i < n; i++) { sum += x[i] * y[i]; } return sum; } ------------------------------------- No

Did the project ever come to a decision about making a transition to git? I'm trying to do some longer-term planning and it would be helpful to know what the roadmap is. Thanks! -Dave

PHP 5.3: IUS vs CentOS repos
I need to upgrade PHP because the latest WordPress requires one at least at 5.2.4. What are the tradeoffs of using the php53 packages provided by CentOS versus IUS? I've seen that installing the RHEL-derived php53 requires removing php first and it creates package conflicts because it doesn't provide a virtual php-common package. That suggests I should install the IUS package. Is

[LLVMdev] running a module pass via opt on multiple bitcode files
Hi, I'm trying to implement a module pass as a share object to process an entire program as a unit. The target program is built from multiple object files, hence multiple bitcode files. However, it seems that opt does not take the whole program, but just one bitcode file, "test.bc" in the example run shown below. $ opt -load mypass.dylib -mymodulepass < test.bc > /dev/null
