Is it possible to use saslauth for digest-md5 or cram-md5
authentication? If so how would one go about configuring dovecot?
Thanks,

Subscribe to root of Maildir namespace?
Our users currently make use of a single namespace, mbox format:
namespace private {
separator = /
prefix =
hidden = no
inbox = yes
location = mbox:~/:INBOX=/var/spool/mail/%u:INDEX=/var/spool/poptemp/dovecot/%u
}
I'd like to give them access to additional Maildir-format storage area,
so to the above I've added:
namespace private {
separator = /
prefix = archive/

Oddball time problem in CID
Hi,
I have a really oddball time problem. When I check the server time using
'date' it is correct. When I review the time in Freepbx (under time
conditions) it is correct. When I look at the time stamp in the CDR it
is correct. When I review the time displayed for a voicemail in a web
browser it is correct. When I hit *98 and then my extension the CID says
a time that is some 6 hours

Damaged rpm database?
Hello,
while doing some maintenance on a Centos 4.4 box, I ran rpm -qa --last
and got:
error: rpmdb: damaged header #91 retrieved -- skipping.
...lots of lines identical to the one above and finally:
the_last_package_I_installed_yesterday.rpm
all the other rpms in reverse installation order
I've seen via google that this should mean there is a damaged rpm
database and it should be rebuilt

Dovecot + OCFS2
Hello,
We are running Red Hat Enterprise Linux AS release 4 (Nahant Update 4)
with OCFS2 for our mail servers. There are three nodes in the cluster
with shared storage and OCFS2 filesystem on it. The filesystem
is used for mail storage(using Maildir layout) and is accessed by smtpd,
pop3 and imap processes(DOVECOT).
The system works fine but when there are mailing lists the load
increases
