Hi, It would be nice if we can get ISSN for wiki.centos.org. Any plans? I know assigning ISSN for blogs is being held now. If we have ISSN it might help to get more people to contribute. Just the hint. David

Worker suicide
Hi the list people, hi Ezra, I just read from this message http://rubyforge.org/pipermail/backgroundrb-devel/2006-July/000134.html that BackgrounDRb will offer a way to kill a worker from within itself. As this message is from 7/25, I wonder if this feature has been added since. If not, is there any way to do it? I tried this: MiddleMan.delete_worker(@_job_key) But it raise: uninitialized

VNC Remote Install Disk
Hey there - I have a tutorial i wrote for my own docs - not sure if you guys want it on the centos wiki. It is a custom centos server 4X disk in which the install connects to a remote listening VNC viewer. The purpose of this disk is simple - to be able to install a second system with centos without having to hook up a keyboard/mouse/monitor. This second machine is my test machine, and I

Encrypted partition short howto

The doc currently lives on our internal wiki (Trac) at work, but I'd love to rewrite and post for a general readership. I suppose the proposed URL would be something like http://wiki.centos.org/TipsAndTricks/EncryptedFilesystem -- Paul Heinlein <> heinlein at madboa.com <>

dovecot ignoring config file contents -- istream.c problem?
Hello! This is my first time trying to run dovecot so maybe I've overlooked something, but I'm having a hard time running dovecot. First of all, it's worth noting that I'm trying to run dovecot on an embedded platform: the target architecture is mipsel; I have patches for the 2.4.18 kernel with special support for the board so I'm still using the 2.4.18 kernel.
