converting list to an array
...yList (see below) that consists of id's $'7',....,$'10'
and each id has an individual array, the length of which can vary from
id to id.
How can I convert this list into an array, ie. stacking the individual
arrays into one large array?
Thanks

timeDate & business day
I have a daily time series and have two questions to get some help with.
Firs,t I have dates in simple numeric values. e.g.
ymd
[1] 20050104 20050105 20050106 20050107 20050110 20050111 20050113 20050114
[9] 20050118 20050120 20050121 20050124 20050125 20050126 20050127 20050128
[17] 20050201 20050202 20050203 20050204
Now, I'd like to compute statistics, e.g. acf, by business days. So, I try
to convert it into timeDate class. But, when I try to change date format,
this is what I am getting:
> tt = timeDate('20050101',format=c('%Y%m%d'),FinCenter='GMT')

vpopmail oddities
vpopmail + qmail + dovecot + thunderbird = huge headache ;-)
alright, when attempting to connect via imaps to my .maildir based
vpopmail install, $user@$domain is having some problems.
/var/vpopmail/domains/$domain/$user is the location of the user
folders with vpopmail and yet dovecot isn't exactly passing on the
domain :-\ i'm not sure if this is a pebkac issue or if it's the root

IAX Client
Hello all,
I'm working an a switchboard console for Asterisk and would like to investigate using IAX Client library to Asterisk. I don't seem to be able to find the source. I'm planning on a Win32 app. Guidance on where the source is or who to "take" to is requested.

rsync-ing on MacOS X.
Hi all,
I'm setting up a backup script for my Mac, and I'm wondering about the
rsync ability of dealing with HFS+ filesystem (resource-fork and
such...). I've searched the mailing list archive for this topic and
I've found some thread regarding it, but it's not clear to me what is
the actual situation. Is the HFS+ officially supported? Will it be in
the near future?
