Transition to IceCast 2
...en a socket to port
8000 on the icecast server and programmatically interact with the admin
console.
I can't seem to get it to work with icecast2...Can't seem to use telnet
to log onto the admin interface either.... Are there more docs out
there somewhere than I got with icecast-2.0-alpha-20030804, can the list
help me, or am I just going to have to go source-code diving?
Thanks in advance

R on Windows Hangs on Packages Built from Sources
Hi,
I am currently having the following problem with R 1.9.0. Any package that
contains C or Fortran code hangs after I have built it and load it into R.
I've tried this with RMySQL and udunits, originally I thought I had done
something subtly wrong in configuring these packages; but I just had the
same problem with a simple example R package that I wrote. I was able to
build and load the

debian/ in CVS
Hello everyone,
I've been poking away at my Debian packages of icecast, ices2, and
libshout, and I've now got them to a point where I think they're ready
to be included in the CVS. The packages have been included in Debian
upstream for some weeks now, and have been reviewed and tested fairly
rigorously. Jack and Ralph have already set me up with a CVS account.
I've been as

bootstrapping vinum root
Well, colleagues, I'm stuck a bit.
I tried many different ways to setup system with vinum root (the only
reference I found yet besides old "bootstrapping vinum" article is Joerg's
commit message: http://freebsd.rambler.ru/bsdmail/cvs-all_2003/msg01225.html
I failed. I have 4-stable system set up at ad0, and tried to set up pair of
drives for new system at ad2 and ad3 (actually,

OpenBSD 3.2 and Release 1
I got the file that was sent to me the other day.
Unfortunitly it did not solve
my problems.
After a lot of hacking I have been able to get release
1.0 to almost compile. I
have finally gotten all of the dependancies worked out
under OpenBSD 3.2.
This next error has me stumped. I can tell that it is
looking for a file but
have no idea how to create the file. This is the
output of the the
