SSH1 security with Kerb5
Hi, I am trying to decide if it is worth the time to test the Kerberos support in a port I am working on of Openssh 3.5p1. Does using Kerb5 with SSH1 solve the security problems inherent in protocol 1 and bring it up to par with the security level of SSH2 or are there other issues that Kerb5 authentication won't help for SSH1? Thanks, Greg Lambert --------------------------------- Do

Intel libraries
Warning: newbie post I've scanned the archives and found some discussion of porting some code so it's integer based as opposed to floating point based. Has anyone looked at using Intel's Integrated Performance Primitives or their Math Kernel Library in an effort to optimize the code across all x86/XScale processors? I find reading and searching to be nice and fast, and comparing it with Courier IMAP on a Celeron 824 MHz, I think Dovecot is generally not much slower, which means it may well be faster than Courier in some or

multihost master.passwd sync
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Just wondered if anyone had any suggestions about syncing up master.passwd files between multiple machines that didn't involve allowing root login remotely? The users need to be able to log in remotely and own files on the different machines. ~~ Andy Harrison ah##@httpsite.com ICQ: 123472 AIM/Y!: AHinMaine [full headers for details] -----BEGIN PGP
