Problems with quota dict in 1.1.alpha4
Hello, there are problems with quota dict when multiple dovecot deliver processes are launched in parallel. It can be reproduced by sending a mail with multiple different recipients - the mail is delivered OK to all recipients, but the quota are not updated correctly in sql. I looked at the code and it seems that the problem is somewhere in dict cache. If I configure in Postfix max number of

Slow Samba performance with single transfers (good speed with mulitple transfers)
System: Gentoo Linux, fully updated (8/19/2006), Kernel 2.6.17.9 stock kernel, samba-3.0.22-r3 (have also tried samba-3.0.23b), 1Gb Ethernet. (thoughout). Problem: Very poor performance when copying files to or from the client, (ie 2000kb or lower on writes, 5000kb or lower on reads). Detailed Problem: If I use SCP from the same source to the same target (including drives), the speed of the transfer is over 10000kb), now if I try a samba transfer at the same time as the SCP then the total speed is 42000kb or 11000kb for scp and 310...

Performance problem with mysql on a 3ware 1+0 raid array
...stent interval of about 4 minutes at which there are large sustained writes to disk that causes mysqld to block and not respond for the entire period. We are using data=journal with a 128M journal and the filesystem is 150GB in size. We get about 300kb/sec in writes and that will jump to about 2000kb/sec during the periods of large sustained writes. Those periods last around 10-15 secs. We also normal get 2000kb/sec to 4000kb/sec reads during normal operation and 0 - 500kb/sec during the sustain write periods... I wonder if this is a ext3 issue since we seem to get this jerkiness on all ou...

[BUG?] Btrfs quota: overwritten space is counted twice
When data in a file is overwritten, starting somewhere in the middle of the file, the overwritten space is counted twice against the space usage numbers. Is this a bug, or did I something wrong? This is what I did: I create a subvolume and limit it to 4 MB, and create a 1000 KB file in the subvol: # btrfs subvol create s Create subvolume ''./s'' # btrfs

Uneven CPU speed with CentOS 4.4 on a Mac Pro
Hi list, I've recently managed to install CentOS 4.4 on an Apple Mac Pro. Functionality-wise everything works great, but when trying to benchmark the system, I don't get stable runtimes, they differ by more than 30%. For example a benchmark run with our PDE solving code takes between 500 and 800 s on the completely unloaded machine. Suspicious kernel output (complete output attached):
