Problem with HP printers
...rinter drivers on out print server and all are working fine except for 3 HP printers. All with a little different problem:
HP InkJet CP1700:
Printer driver wount install. Files get copied to the print server, you can see the driver in the list of availiable drivers but you can't choose it.
HP 2000C:
Printer driver installs on some of our clients (currently 2), the others get a Protection Fault when they try to access the properties window.
HP DeskJet 1100C:
Everything seems to install correctly but print output gets garbled.

ext3 and Software RAID-5: issue ?

RAID array:
mounted as /store, root FS on a separate disk with ext3
7 disks of 75GB, each on its own IDE bus (loads of cabling...)
chunk-size 64k, persistent superblock, no spare disk
Access of /store:
samba-2.2.1a-4
NFS (nfs-utils-0.3.1-13.7.2.1)
web (apache-1.3.22-2)
IMAP (imap-2000c-15)
Besides RAID5, I have another machine running the same setup, and no problem
ever.

New to list, got a quota question
Hello folks -
I'm running dovecot on top of qmail/vpopmail/mysql, serving up about
2500 mailboxes. Everything is running very smooth and fast.... I
recently upgraded dovecot to 1.1, so I'm trying to implement some extra
features like IMAP quotas.
I'm using the sql passdb, with the following config:

Hi,
I have installed succesfully 5 different remote printers on my samba
server, but
I have been working on the installation of the Printer HP2000c
for 3 weeks...
and still it is not working.
I deleted the *tdb and start again from the beginning:
If I do network neighbourhood, samba server, printer folder, hp2000c
properties I saw "no driver available..."
I did "add new driver", (not so easy to understand
