Restricting SSL/TLS protocol versions on Dovecot 2.2.22
Hello, I have a question regarding SSL/TLS settings for Dovecot version 2.2.22. In: 10-ssl.conf there are two parameters: ssl_protocols ssl_cipher_list ssl_protocols is commented with ?SSL protocol to use? and ssl_cipher_list is commented with ?SSL ciphers to use?. If I want to disable SSLv3, for example, do I need to use both parameters or will disabling SSLv3 ciphers in

Setting Up A Rails App With Passenger
Been trying to get Passenger installed and setup to run a rails app. Everytime I goto eaa.mysite.com in Firefox the web browser goes out to the Internet instead of serving up the website. Why does this occur? Below is part of the configuration for apache2.conf: ======================================================= # Setup a virtual host for the rails apps to run in. <VirtualHost *:80>

syslinux boot fails with 2.4.18 but works with 2.2.22
I try to make a floppy disk for replaying a disk image to a harddrive. The image is on our server and is only accessable by nfs because its bigger than 2 gig so it is not possible to store it temporarily on the computer. So I created a floppy disk with syslinux 2.00, busybox 0.60.5 and uClibc 0.9.16. Using a 2.2.22 kernel (with nfs and all build in) all worked but busybox, cause uClibc won't

apache 2.2.22 on CentOS 5...
Hi, while the brand new apache 2.2.22 compiles fine on CentOS 6, it fails on CentOS 5 unless you tell him to use its internal apr lib...I saw in the 2.2.22 release notes: "This release includes the Apache Portable Runtime (APR) version 1.4.5 and APR Utility Library (APR-util) version 1.4.2, bundled with the tar and zip distributions. The APR libraries libapr and libaprutil (and on Win32,

ACL hide folders
After updating from 2.2.22 to 2.2.33 rsp 2.3.8 my ACLs went bust. Below line in the global acl file hides all folders except INBOX for all users > * group=ALL Next reenable certain folders, eg: > Sent group=ALL lrwsi This made anyone see "Sent" in 2.2.22, but no longer so in 2.2.33 Any ideas how to have it like before? -- peter

Subscription not immediately reflected
Hello, ? I noticed that somewhere between 2.2.22 and 2.2.25 the workings of subscriptions seem to have changed. In version 2.2.25, when a client subscribes to a folder, and then does an LSUB command, it will not see that subscribed folder. If you retry the LSUB command, the change is there. Same with unsubscribes. In version 2.2.22 I did not see this weird behavior. ? John
