...what I do I was able to open the settings window on the external screen again to activate cloning of the screens. This works without a problem. And I also have no problems if I set the external screen virtually to the right of the internal one. My version of xserver-xorg-video-nouveau is 1:1.0.10-1ubuntu2. Hi, Xorcom astribanks get initialized straight on when using Ubuntu 11.10 packages but I am having a hard time to get the same result running in a qemu/libvirt image.
