Semantics of chaining...
...ole album in one file, where
each chain is one song, but they are intended to be played chainwise rather
than filewise.
So some player somes along and sees a file with 2x 1 minute chains... should
it display the duration as 2mins and just play over it. Or should it play
showing the duration as 1minute for 1minute, then when it hits the chain,
reset its progress bar to zero, and show the duration as 1minute again for
the next chain. And then depending how the playlist is displayed, how can
the user skip between the chains ?
How can a player know the difference between these two meanings ?

do not know if that is grace to ubuntu or grace to 32bit)
when using the normal gcc on the 64bit fc8 machine, everything works too.
now the "bad" thing: it does not work on fc8 with llvm-2.3
the error looks as follows:

question on sending mail with 5.2
...mmand cat file.txt | sendmail -t -O MinQueueAge=1m
thinking that the message would try every minute to send instead of the
default 30m. (if the initial attempt failed of course).
This doesnt seem to have any effect?
In the event I have an important email and I want it try perhaps every
minute (1minute)
to send the email how do I accomplish this from the sendmail command line?
Thanks,

Theora file size
Hi
I was surprised with size of Theora files and thought
of feedback.
Following 1minute duration Theora and Xvid files were
made from a y4m file. The resolution is 1280x720:
1. Xvid 17MB
2. Ogg/Theora Q7 31MB
3. Ogg/Theora Q8 38MB
4. Ogg/Theora Q9 49MB
5. Ogg/Theora Q10 61MB
The Xvid file was made using mencoder by 2 passes with

pop3-login problem
Hi!
I have dovecot-2.2.5 installed as part of postfix+dovecot+mysql+amavisd.
My server has two NICs (Internet and local). /etc/resolv.conf point to ISP DNS. Local names are not resolved.
If ISP link goes to down state I see (after about 1minute) a following error:
Sep 26 15:44:29 pop3-login: Error: master(pop3): Auth request timed out (received 0/12 bytes)
and following informational message:
Sep 26 15:44:29 pop3-login: Info: Internal login failure (pid=12809 id=17815) (internal failure, 1 successful auths): user=<xxx at xxx.xxx>...

new assembler port
...MCU/DSP fixed point processor running at
120Mhz in
my application.
Does anyone have experiences/info about the computational power
requirements, e.g.
what quality/bitrate and complexity of encoding seem to be realistic as
target operating
modes. I've run some tests with speexenc, encoding a 1minute 16bit PCM
8khz speech
file, which took 3m53s to encode at 11kbps CBR/complexity 3.
For finding a starting point for the assembler port I did some analysis
of the encoding with
valgrind-callgrind. Perhaps some of you have already done similar work
and could share
a bit of their experience?

RC1 problem? (Conversation over two IAX2 streams = nasty, gappy audio) (fwd)
Hi,
With reference to Andrew Kohlsmith's problem with calls over IAX2 going
dead after 1minute 5 seconds:
This is caused by a bug in the "optimized bridging" code in chan_iax2.c
interacting badly with the IAX2 jitter buffer.
This problem only affect calls where:
1) There are 2 or more servers doing optimised bridging between the
end-points of the call.
ie a call like A-end -I...

Asterisk ConfBridge application – Delay in voice path
...autofallthrough = yes
[conferences]
exten = 999,1,Answer()
exten = 999,n,ConfBridge(conference,M)
I have added 4 users to confbridge by dialing 999.From first 3 users
[X-lite] no delay in voice path.
But 4th user [X-lite] has delay in voice path and it taking nearly 30
Seconds [ some times 1minute also] to reach voice to remaining 3-persons.
Once in a while it happening after adding 3rd user itself.
Any Idea - Please suggest me.
Thanks and Regards,
Garge.

Poor ipsec performance with policy match
Hello !
I have a performance issue with Kernel 2.6.X and policy match support as
suggested in http://shorewall.net/IPSEC-2.6.html. My IPSEC performance
doesn''t exeed about 30kbyte/sec even if my downlink is 1024kbit/sec and
should reach more than 100kbyte/sec.
No, its not the cpu''s performance (AMD Barton 2500+) and no it''s not the
gateway (CELERON 600 Mhz) on the
