NT PDC forgets it's the domain master browser! Why???
...ng that Samba and the PDC are synchronizing browse
lists. Eventually, in the nmbd log, errors like this one
begin:

Questions are about <1b> NetBios type record name for workgroup (for
workgroup, not for node) .

I am trying to define groupings from levels of factor variables and this the warning message that R give

The nature of my task is this. I have a variable stage which has the levels (1B, 2A, 2B) - these are the AJCC TNM stages of cancer, and another variable diameter with factor levels ("=< 4", "4 - 6.5, > 6.5; limit values are exclusive).

Errors printing from Windows to a Samba server

Here is the solution: Log into the Samba server as root. Edit
/etc/cups/mime.types (or similar) using a reliable text editor. Find the
"application/vnd.cups-raw" entry. In my case, it looks like this:

Slow Directory Access after upgrade to 3.5.6
Upgraded to Samba 3.5.6 from 3.5.2.
Samba is running as a standalone server on a box that was upgraded from
Slackware 13.1 to Slackware 13.37.
All Win XP Pro and Win 7 Pro clients can connect to the workgroup and browse
shares and folders exactly as before; however, many complain of intermittent
pauses, slowdowns and "Not Responding" messages when traversing directories.

C6.5 KDE - no more audio (yesterday it was ok)
