Hi Aki,
In support of Hajo I've to say that a few days ago I posted a similar
issue, and I use dovecot-lda+sieve. My environment has RHEL6 and 7
servers. When I last updated the servers RHEL6 servers mantained
2.2.10-1_14.el6.x86_64 version, while RHEL7 updated dovecot from
2.2.10-8.el7.x86_64 to 2.2.36-3.el7.x86_64. When the RHEL7 servers (used
for sympa) processed a message for a user, its indexes were corrupted,
and the user could't access his inbox through webmail, so I had to
delete dovecot.* files from...

Panic on alway_bcc mail with attachment while using sdbox
I do always get a panic on service lmtp, while receiving a mail by postfix through always_bcc, containing an attachment. If the bcc recipient would be supplied by a small delay, I would say that the panic wouldn't occur, but I don't know how to verify this.
dovecot is configured with 'mail_attachment_dir' and the public namespace location is sdbox

Translating address lead me to:

I was using packages from http://packages.atrpms.net/dist/el6/dovecot/
To be precise, dovecot-2.2.10-1_14.el6.x86_64.rpm
I tampered with the src.rpm, upgraded spec&sources to match 2.2.12.
It didn't help, so I tries to "workaround" this.
The bug has gone when in src/auth/auth-fields.c:210 I added check if the field
ptr is not null. As it's a userdb query, it seems that for some...

problem using different dovecot versions
Hi All,
I'm new to the list and may be it's a known issue. I have a set of
servers with RHEL6 and dovecot-2.2.10-1_14.el6.x86_64 and another set of
servers with RHEL7 and, now, with dovecot-2.2.36-3.el7.x86_64. Both sets
write to the same NFS.
Since I updated RHEL7 servers (from 2.2.10-8.el7.x86_64) I've problems
with index files when a RHEL7 dovecot service write to the filesystem of
a user (the first log...
