...n child??? class with selected protocols for example http i try to use this script but its now working in theory: there is root class 1:0 with subclass 1:2 in class 1:2 all ip adresses have their bandwidth limit 1:{iden} and now i try also control bandwith in this class i.e. if class 1:{iden} have 190kbit i want 95kbit with burst to 190kbit for port 80 and 95kbit with burst to 190kbit for port 110 and 40kbit with burt to 95kbit for rest of his traffic. i attach my script whit should do that in theory but its not doing this any one can help correct my errors or tell how to do that? best regards szo...

HTB, MPU, and suitable values

When the link is saturated with a large quantity of small UDP packets (~ 100 bytes each) I find the modem begins to queue locally when I use a rate of 190kbit for my parent class. So, I was forced to switch to 160kbit. That seems symptomatic of HTB not knowing the true cost of sending a packet across the ADSL link, which is of essential importance when there are many small packets.
