Hello, I am having issues making my box boot with Xen. I am working with linux-2.6.16.28-xen on a gentoo box. The server is Dell PowerEdge 1850 with Perc 4e/Si, FW 521X. When dom0 reaches the point of scanning the SCSI controllers, it hangs in a loop aic7xxx_dev_reset_returns 0x2002. My regular (non-xen) kernels come up fine with detecting my adaptec scsi controller. Hello all. I've got this weird problem. If I try to boot a simple menu using syslinux's (v 3.09) pxelinux.0 and menu.c32 -files my Dell 1850 loses the keyboard / hangs straight after loading menu.c32. The machine has to be powered off completely. I did some research and got it working by using menu.c32 v3.09 and pxelinux.0 v3.07 -combo. All, I seem to be experiencing the same problem that Michal Urbanski talked about in an email dated March 24th with a subject of "hanging dell hardware". Looking through the archives I can not find any resolution to the problem.
