echo that gets subtracted from the actual echo is such
a small signal that it doesn't really result in any
noticeable echo attenuation.
I currently have my filter size set to 2 seconds even
though the echo in my microphone file is only about
180ms delayed from the signal in my speaker file. I
also double checked that the endianess of my is
correct, and that I am providing the files to testecho
in the correct order.
Do you think that there could be some characteristics
to my echo that make it not work with the mdf
algorithm? How much echo a...

Latency issues with World of Warcraft vs root/user
...ith that I'm unable to enable all my addons due to the fact that my frame rate will drop to at extremely low levels. But when I run as root (I know this is a bad idea..that's why I'm trying to fix it) I'm able to enable all 215 addons and will get latency of any were between 80ms to 180ms and a frame rate of about 40-50fps with almost everything turned to its max with the exception of shadows. I start wow from the shell
Code:
wine ~/Documents/World\ of\ Warcraft\ 3.2.0/Wow.exe

As you can see, nothing is written the second time because nothing
has changed! Also notice the overall execution time of around 270ms.
Estimated 180ms - 220ms are used for loading Rubygems and
dependencies. webgen 0.4.2 needs about twice the time!
That''s all for now!

Again, look closely at the relative packet times. This time, it appears
that ibook waits something like 180ms before it acks the group of data
packets. This is only a small snippet, but the pattern is consistent
throughout the transfer. When talking to the Debian Samaba server, the
iBook takes MUCH MUCH longer to send a lot of the ACKs. That accounts
for the slower transfer.
Now...the $64,000 question...
