SIP Channel jitter buffer issue
Hi, I have a SIP client which is registered to asterisk. Asterisk is registered to a SIP trunk and also handles the media. Now since my client has some issues in its RTP Tx, which seems to have some amount of jitter (mean jitter as per ethereal trace is about 17ms, max jitter is 20 ms and max delta is 85 ms), to over come that I have enabled jitter buffer in the SIP channel by setting sip.conf parameters jenable=yes, jbforce=yes, jbmaxsize=200 and jbimpl=fixed. However on setting these parameters I am unable to hear on the trunk side. From the jitter logs as...

Hook into Exception Chain
Hi there, I''m using Log4r in my rails projects. On log.error an email is sent using the EmailOutputter. I know changed the EmailOutputter to include a global var in the subject (MDC) since the subject is normally static. I want to set this var to the exception message, so it is sent as the subject. Can anyone tell me how to do this in rails? Basically: raise e or some other cause

tdm loosing interrupts and latency
...amp;highlight=&sid=9de59f41f1a93ee8701b28fdd0cf6073) Seems like the driver (and this is in zaptel & dadhi code), increases latency by +1 until 30. and then the card seems to not work. In my case I have seen latency increase from 8m (I have this as a starting point in the module load) up to 17ms usually around here the fxs and fxo ports stop working ..... I have to unload and then reload the module. bummer. I can think of a couple of solutions 1) build some intelligence to bring down the number when things are okay 2) build logic to say if a number is provided on module load to fix it...

QoS - Ping problem
Hello all, I have set my QoS solution and now I am facing a little problem... When I ping to my server it has some lost packages: Estatísticas do Ping para 172.30.0.1: Pacotes: SENDED = 1029, RETURNED = 880, LOST = 149 (14% de perda), Aproximar um número redondo de vezes em milissegundos: Mínimo = 0ms, Máximo = 686ms, Média = 105ms If I disable my QoS ping stats to be ok. I even have
