Incase anyone is interested this issue was caused by turning on brick

No, certainly not instead of. A mailing list is essential. I'm part of a
few slack communities and it seems an excellent platform for realtime
discourse and noob baiting. Very sadly the #centos and #rhel freenode irc
channels seem to be rather quiet these days and

plotting on a reverse log scale
I'd like to do some plots of historical event data on a reverse log
scale, started, say at the year 2000 and going
backwards in time, with tick marks spaced according to log(2000-year).
For example, see:
http://euclid.psych.yorku.ca/SCS/Gallery/images/log-timeline.gif
As an example, I'd like to create a density plot of such data with the
horizontal axis reverse-logged,

[LLVMdev] BasicAliasAnalysis and out-of-bound GEP indices
Hi!
While investigating into the PR1782 I spent some time analyzing
BasicAliasAnalysis.cpp. While the mentioned problem should be fixed now
(I hope), I have discovered some other possibilities for a bug to occur.
In the case of checking for aliasing of two pointer values, where at
least one of them is a GEP instruction with out-of-bound...

shared-mime-info (PR#8278)
...So I
created apropriate .lang file:
http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=157370
Gedit picks apropriate lang file according to file mimetype, so I
created apropriate mime type for files with extension .R. I filed a bug
report at freedesktop.org:
https://freedesktop.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=1782
There Christophe Fergeau suggested that maybe R could take care of
installing this mime type by itself. Is it possible? As I understand it would
only concern Linux installations and R should cooperate with shared-mime-info
package which is responsible for all mime type definitions.
