I looked in the messages file for complaints and didn't see anything
that strikes me as unusual.
How much memory is available? Is this a known issue?

WP flag in CR0, setting
Hello!
I have a slight problem in my guest port with the WP bit in CR0. The
original kernel maps certain kernel pages to user-mode read-only and
relies on the kernel being able to modify these despite the read-only
bit being set in the pages. This in turn requires that the WP bit is
unset in CR0.
Unfortunately, Xen doesn''t allow the WP bit to be zeroed because Xen
wants to share pages

Slow Resilvering Performance
I know this topic has been discussed many times... but what the hell
makes zpool resilvering so slow? I''m running OpenSolaris 2009.06.
I have had a large number of problematic disks due to a bad production
batch, leading me to resilver quite a few times, progressively
replacing each disk as it dies (and now preemptively removing disks.)
My complaint is that resilvering ends up

Rsync / SSH / Cygwin .. permission problems..
I am attempting to use rsync to "mirror" data between several windows 2000
and windows XP systems. I am a UNIX person by nature, so decided the
easiest way to go about doing this would be to use Cygwin with cron and ssh
running as services, then run the rsync connection nightly through cron.
Cygwin is installed on both systems and works perfectly. OpenSSH is
installed and running,

...is x86_64 so should have no problem large amounts of
RAM. The system has 4 GB installed (2GB on each processor).
If I boot the system with a fresh install of Debian Etch it sees all the memory
fine. dmesg reports:
