centos 3.5 ?
Hi all,
I see centos 3.5Beta in the beta.centos.org.
Is this the next release of version 3 ?
Strangely, 3.4 is not the final release of version 3 ?
Thx

Major CPU spike for SSL parameters?
I went from a nightly of about 20051117 or so (about alpha4 generation) to

every ~10 minutes per:

OT: A lightweight monitor software
Hi all,
I have a test lab installed over an ESXi 5.1 host that contains 5
CentOS vm guests. I would like to monitor CPU, RAM and Network for
these vm and ESXi host. Zabbix and Nagios are too to accomplish this
task. Does anyone know any lightweight openosurce soft to do this??
Thanks.

extended search
Hello,
is it safe to use arg_new_human_date() from
src/lib-storage/mail-search-register-human.c instead of arg_new_date()
inside src/lib-storage/mail-search-register-imap.c?
The benefit is ability to use interval based search rules, e.g., SINCE
2days. I run it for couple of days and looks fine, used for virtual folders.
This kind of search I missed for usage on laptop - I have pretty huge

CentOS 6 and pxeboot
...r dhcpd config has this for pxeboot:
group
{
allow booting;
allow bootp;
filename "gpxelinux.0";
option-209 = "pxelinux.cfg/default";
option subnet-mask 255.255.254.0;
option routers <our router>;
default-lease-time 172800; # 2 days.
max-lease-time 432000; # 5 days.
I added that option-209, but it didn't take. I've been looking at the
docs, but if someone's can tell me off the top of their head what I need
to do, I'd appreciate it. This has become a high priority today....

ISC DHCP failover
Anybody have any experience with setting up dhcpd in failover mode
between two servers? I set this up on a couple of servers, and it seems
to be working, but I don't think it is working "right". It appears both
servers are replying to all requests (which for renewals works okay
because they both give the same address, but new requests get two
different responses). I thought that

Problem with diff(strptime(...
Hi all,
I have been chipping away at a problem I encountered in calculating
rates per year from a moderately large data file (46412 rows). When I
ran the following command, I got obviously wrong output:
interval<-
c(NA,as.numeric(diff(
strptime(mkdf$MEAS_DATE,"%d/%m/%Y")))/365.25)
The values in MEAS_DATE looked like this:
mkdf$MEAS_DATE[1:10]
[1] 1/5/1962 1/5/1963

Need help with win32-service, failure actions
Hi all,
I''m trying to get failure action support working. I''ve modified the
Service.configure method to accept the following options:
failure_reset_period
failure_command
failure_reboot_message
failure_actions
failure_delay
I''ve got the failure_command and failure_reboot message working, but the
rest aren''t working properly. I''m mostly focused on

matchname messages filling logs - howto stop?
Listmates,
I have had a few boxes where the 'matchname' message is filling my syslog with
one new message ever ~40 seconds or so. No performance problems, just the log
annoyance. An example of the messages are:

dhclient.conf
Hi all :-)
on centos 6 I need keep the hostname from a dhcp server:
cat /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-eth0
DEVICE=eth0
HWADDR=00:50:56:27:0E:C8
TYPE=Ethernet
UUID=20924b21-e92a-4944-a054-06d1967155c1
ONBOOT=yes
NM_CONTROLLED=yes
BOOTPROTO=dhcp
PEERDNS=yes
with this config, centos keep only ip from dhcp server (not gw, not dns)
where is dhclient.conf? I need to create it? If yes,

Do you have a next-server option that points to your tftp server? I've
always hardcoded an IPv4 address into that setting:
group {
# normal stuff
next-server 10.11.12.13;
filename "gpxelinux.0";
}

Configure to only receive recent mail?

but this will create a virtual/*, I want to control the real INBOX.
The user can set the email for how long it takes to set itself, for
example, within 3 months by default.This way you can use all the mail to
display to the client.
Does dovecot support such a configuration?
