[LLVMdev] [LLVMDev] trouble building gcc-frontend from source
...e LLVM-gcc front end from the respective repositories. Then, I built the LLVM suite without any hitch, but when I tried to build the llvm-gcc frontend (exactly following the instructions of README.LLVM) , I got compilator errors. I am using "gcc (GCC) 4.1.3 20070929 (prerelease) (Ubuntu 4.1.2-16ubuntu2)" on Ubuntu 7.10, Intel Core Duo. I have attached the make file output with this mail. (I did not find any mention of this mailing list's policy on attachments, and if it's against the rules then I apologise). I wished to know if the error is a result of some recent changes taking pla...

VT-d support in HVM?
Hi, I''ve recently setup a few machines with 3.2 64bit without any unresolvable problem. These machines all run pv domU''s and a view "basic" hvm domUs. As I''ve got one machine left for internal use and testing, I would like to take a look at pciback with VT-d support (bios screen shows a VT-d [enable|disable]). My question is, do I need to add patches, or use

NA_real_ <op> NaN -> NA or NaN, should we care?
On Linux when I compile R 2.10.0(devel) (src/main/arithmetic.c in particular) with gcc 3.4.5 using the flags -g -O2 I get noncommutative behavior when adding NA and NaN: > NA_real_ + NaN [1] NaN > NaN + NA_real_ [1] NA If I compile src/main/arithmetic.c without optimization (just -g) then both of those return NA. On Windows, using a precompiled R 2.8.1 from CRAN I get NA for
