I have 15x SAS drives in a Dell MD1000 enclosure, attached to an LSI 9200-16e. This has been working well. The system is boothing off of internal drives, on a Dell SAS 6ir. I just tried to add a second storage enclosure, with 15 more SAS drives, and I got a lockup during Loading Kernel. I got the same results, whether I daisy chained the enclosures, or plugged them both...

As a professional audio mastering engineer I am anxious to run professional PC audio software under WINE in Ubuntu Mint. Particularly SADiE 6, Adobe Audition 3, Reaper and similar. They all use ASIO driver interfaces with sound cards. Hi, my oi151 based home NAS is approaching a frightening "drive space" level. Right now the data volume is a 4*1TB Raid-Z1, 3 1/2" local disks individually connected to an 8 port LSI 6Gbit controller. So I can either exchange the disks one by one with autoexpand, use 2-4 TB disks and be happy. This was my original approach. However I am totally unclear about the 512b vs 4Kb issue.

Hi. To begin with, I have a freshly built RedHat Linux 8.0 box running samba 2.2.8a. The kernel version is 2.4.18-14. I downloaded and compiled samba from source. I am using LPRng-3.8.9-6 as my printing system. The attached printer is a Lexmark Z22 printer and it is attached to the parralel port. Problem: For the life of me, I can't get NT type clients, NT4, 2K and XP to print to samba.
