Two-node cluster often hanging in o2hb/jdb2
...5
minutes, but the interval seems irregular while the time that it hangs
is quite similar. This behavior seems pretty much independent from
the (IO) load of the nodes (as long as not really high).
I tried a ps, grepping for D repeated every second on both nodes.
When hanging, both show this:

that the row that has the value in it, the value is not always the same,
it is a time stamp of when something happens.

R_alloc segfaults
...stand-alone C program that calls R_alloc, but
I get a segmentation fault:
int main(int argc, char** argv){
double* d = (double *)R_alloc(2, sizeof(double)); // <- segmentation fault!
return 0;
}
gdb reveals that sizeof(double) evaluated to 0:
> R_alloc (nelem=2, eltsize=0) at memory.c:1649
so it results in the segfault later.
This is how I compile my program:
$ cd R-2.6.1/src/main
$ gcc -std=gnu99 -I../../src/extra/zlib -I../../src/extra/bzip2
-I../../src/extra/pcre -I. -I../../src/include -I../../src/include
-I/usr/local/include -DHAVE_CONFIG_H -g -c main.c -o main.o

FETCH for mailbox got too little data
Using 1.1.1. Got this error message in a tight loop, using both Tbird and
Mulberry 3 as client:
FETCH for mailbox INBOX UID 32994 got too little data: 1616 vs 1649
I get this repeatedly alternating with a login line. What does this mean?
I stopped the server, zipped ~/mail/.imap/INBOX to hide it and let dovecot
recreate it, and things seem to be working again. Is there a less
destructive way to fix this in the future?
Delivery is by procmail.

last desperate plea for help with NetWkstaUserLogon
I posted a message about a week ago concerning my ongoing battles
with NetWkstaUserLogon (aka networkstation user login). I would
be very grateful for answers to ANY of my questions...
We have 1.9.18p4 on Solaris 2.6. We are doing pass-through authentication
(security=server, password server = <NT PDC>).
It will allow administrators to login, map drives, etc. etc.
However, non

calling dovecot exported auth from Java
As far as I have been able to figure out, dovecot auth always works over
a Unix domain socket. I believe it is not currently possible to operate
dovecot auth over an Internet domain (TCP) socket. Am I correct?
I want to call dovecot's exported authentication from a Java
application. Java doesn't natively know how to talk to a Unix domain
socket, so there are inconveniences. There
