More libshout questions
Okay,
I am using libshout to stream to a NullSoft Shoutcast server. I am
using libmad and libmp3lame to do re-encoding on the fly. I am streaming
to the server (currently) with shout_send_raw(). When I try to use
shout_metadata_add(), I get a segfault in strdup(). Anyone have any
ideas as to why? Everything else works fine, just not the metadata.
Thanks In Advance,
Deven

Could not create PID file error when .svn directory exists.
...gs in a subversion repository so naturally there
are .svn directories within the puppet config directory.
Not sure why but one of my puppetmaster instances refuses to start
until I remove one specific .svn directory.
No puppet process running.

Rails] Re: Mac OS X and Uninitialzed Constant Mysql
Thanks for the reply, Mick. I do the have the database connection
params set correctly in config/database.yml. I stumbled across the
following post (http://www.elharo.com/blog/category/software-
development/databases/), and the suggestion was to change the mysql
version from 64-bit to 32-bit (the mysql.com downloads). I did, and
it works as expected now. As the mysql gem is compiled

Samba 4.9.4 - high RAM usage - OOM killer
Hi,
We upgraded a legacy (NT4) domain from 3.6 series to 4.8 and then 4.9.4
samba version (using sernet subscription packages / debian stable)
The setup is composed of 4 DCs with each 2 CPU/16GB RAM.
We currently have ~700 user accounts / ~600 computers / ~150 groups
Our mail setup, SSO, ... query the 4 DCs constantly.
Every 5 to 10 days the RAM consumption and CPU usage (due to kswapd)
