How customize samba for large directory
Hi
I made some work using samba 2.0.6.
I use large directory, more than 10000 file.
The time to have a list from window NT is very big 2Minuts.
I spy a little the dialog and I see that the negociation for exange files
name is limited to 170 filenames
and a buffer to 16387 octets.
Do you know a way to change this ?
I tryed without result,
max xmit = 60000
packet size= 60000
For dialog Window/Window I change on the server side the registry
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\LanmanServer\Parameters
SizReqBuf to 60000 and a NT...

RC1 problem? (Conversation over two IAX2 streams = nasty, gappy audio)
...call to Nufone will show "normal" lag and jitter values between colo* and

[Bug 1183] sshd fails to update utmp

Periodically, my sshd stops updating utmp with login information.
Restarting sshd doesn't resolve the problem, but rebooting my computer
does. The last couple times this has happened, I've looked at the

Initialize, instance variable....wrong number of arguments!
Dear RoR Community
My new RoR experience went really smooth for some time until I got stuck
with a seemingly easy problem and the more I have tried to read about it
(PickAxe, Agile WD, forum, etc.) the more confused I got!
What I have done so far as a newbie is to use the scaffold and then
build my own ideas around it. What I am trying to do now is
allow/disallow an action in the input form

Smbclient fails to connect
Hi,
I've recently upgrade to Samba 1.9.17p1 from 1.9.16p11 (for Solaris 2.5), but
have now found that smbclient fails to connect to user shares on win95
machines. I've tried the same login account from a win95 account and am able
to mount shares from other win 95 machines. I've also tried running the old
smbclient binary with the new smbd & nmbd daemons, and that lets me log

Paravirtualised drivers for fully virtualised domains
(The list appears to have eaten my previous attempt to send this.
Apologies if you receive multiple copies.)
The attached patches allow you to use paravirtualised network and
block interfaces from fully virtualised domains, based on Intel''s
patches from a few months ago. These are significantly faster than
the equivalent ioemu devices, sometimes by more than an order of
magnitude.
